Construction
The construction industry is preparing itself for yet another shake-up. With the consultation exercise now complete on a further review of the Construction Act, recommendations are imminent. Payment issues, and particularly improving cash flow within the industry, continue to be a key focus. However, of potentially greater impact is the recommendation that a third party adjudicator will be able to make binding decisions in certain contractual disputes.
Our Construction Group advises developers, investors, lenders, contractors, architects, engineers and surveyors on how it will affect them. It continues to keep abreast of all legislative changes.
Our expertise covers:
- Drafting building contracts and professional appointments

- Security documentation
- Insurance (including inherent defects insurance)
