Property consultant, Geoff Hayhurst, formerly Head of Property at Paisner & Co is also a Director of London Freeholds plc, former British Land’s Daniel Peltz’s retail-focused property investment company. His particular expertise includes commercial investment property and property joint ventures. He acts for developers, dealers investors as well as for charities operating in the property sector.

Andrew Goldstone joined as Private Client partner to focus on capital tax planning, employee share schemes and UK and offshore trusts. His expertise will complement the Firm’s existing practices serving the personal and corporate needs of the private client. But what might be of particular interest to our Property sector clients is that prior to joining Mishcon de Reya, Andrew spent five years as founder managing director of Freeman Business Information PLC, providers of information to the property industry.

Conan Chitham joined from Wragge & Co in Birmingham and specialises in intellectual property, media and information technology. He is also nonexecutive Director of Maverick Television Limited. Conan previously worked as a lawyer in the Lord Chancellor’s Department and trained as a barrister before joining private practice.

Richard Nowinski had been a partner in Richards Butler’s Finance Group and specialised in acting for international corporations and financial institutions in finance and projects with a focus on the transport, engineering and energy sectors. He now heads up Mishcon de Reya’s International Trade Group.

Simon Bentley, former Chief Executive and Chairman of Black’s Leisure was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Firm. Simon has a variety of other commercial interests and positions, many with a retail focus. Simon brings this wealth of commercial experience to this advisory role at Mishcon de Reya.
