Mishcon de Reya and Queen Mary, University of London, launch a specialist ‘Pink Law’ Legal Advice Centre

Queen Mary, University of London in conjunction with Mishcon de Reya and two other city law firms, launched a specialist ‘Pink Law’ Legal Advice Centre on Friday 14 November 2008.

The project will offer free and impartial legal advice on issues affecting the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community, such as employment discrimination, civil partnerships and cohabitation.

James Libson, Head of Dispute Resolution at Mishcon de Reya said: "We are delighted to be involved in such an innovative and important project. The Legal Advice Centre at Queen Mary's is a leader in reaching out to those in need of free, independent advice. In targeting the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community the Centre is providing another vital service, which we are proud to sponsor."
