Mishcon de Reya advises Quotient BioResearch Limited

Mishcon de Reya acted for new client, Quotient BioResearch Limited (“Quotient BioResearch”), the leading European provider of analytical and safety evaluation services and products for bioscience and sport, on its acquisition of BioDynamics Research Limited (“BioDynamics”).
This acquisition of BioDynamics, a leading, specialist provider of metabolism, bioanalytical and radiochemistry services to the world-wide pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, is the fourth that Quotient BioResearch have completed since their inception in 2007.
Head of Corporate Commercial Department, Richard Tyler led the team assisted by Banking Partner, Luke Morris, Real Estate Partner, Ian Paul, Corporate Assistant, Michelle Kennedy, Real Estate Assistant, Simon Hart and Employment Assistant, Daniel Myers. Corporate Tax Partner, David Blumenthal advised on the tax aspects of the transaction.
Ernst & Young, Belfast were the financial advisers to Quotient BioResearch, Muckle LLP acted for the seller, Thomas Swan & Co Ltd and Arthur Cox acted for the funder, Ulster Bank.
