Intellectual Property: Arrogant Cat secures Bunny Girl IP rights in claim against ASOS

Mishcon de Reya has successfully acted for boutique design house Arrogant Cat Limited in its claim against online retailer ASOS plc for infringement of its original design for its "Bunny Girl" shorts. 

In return for settling its claim against ASOS, Arrogant Cat has obtained an undertaking from ASOS to stop copying the Bunny Girl shorts and also to not infringe any of Arrogant Cat's designs in the future.

In addition to the undertaking against further copying, ASOS have agreed to an order to deliver up to Arrogant Cat the entire remaining stock of the infringing shorts produced by ASOS for destruction, and to pay an undisclosed sum in damages and legal costs.
