Mishcon de Reya advises Kudu Fund Limited

Release Date: 20 July 2007

Mishcon de Reya recently advised Kudu Fund Limited on its re-naming and restructuring, including the replacement of its investment manager, the creation of a new class of shares in the Fund, and its listing on the Irish Stock Exchange. We also advised them in respect of the creation of a new US feeder fund.

Kudu Fund Limited was formerly known as Clareville Capital Temple Fund Limited.

Kudu Emerging Markets LLP replaced Clareville Capital Partners LLP as investment manager to the Fund. George Case (previously with Clareville Capital Partners LLP), has joined Kudu Emerging Markets LLP where he continues to have primary responsibility for the management of the investments of the Fund.

Mishcon de Reya were the principal lawyers, responsible for co-ordinating the international team of legal and other advisors in Ireland, Bermuda and the US.

The transaction is the latest in a series of listed funds and other IPOs on which Mishcon de Reya has advised.

Head of the Firm’s Funds Group, Christopher Jones led the team with assistance from corporate assistants Shika Thakrar and Andrew Wolfin and consultant James Wilcox.
