Mishcon de Reya advised existing client London Town Plc on its £16.24 million acquisition of a property portfolio of 39 pubs, part-financed by the issue of shares on a non pre-emptive basis to existing substantial shareholders (i.e. a related party transaction for the purposes of the AIM Rules) and the convening of an EGM to obtain shareholder approval for the share issue.
