Mishcon de Reya advises Matterhorn Capital on the acquisition of seven acre Mill Hill site for redevelopment

Mishcon de Reya has advised Matterhorn Capital on the purchase of St Joseph's College, a 230 bedroom residential college building on seven acres of land in Mill Hill London NW7. The deal, which is unconditional on planning, follows the company's 2006 acquisition of Cornwall Terrace, Regent's Park from British Land and a brownfield site on St John's Wood Road opposite Lord's Cricket Ground from EDF Energy.
Matterhorn Capital, co-founded in 2005 by Simon Conway and Anthony Lyons, majority shareholders in Earls Court and Olympia Group will now seek to obtain planning consent to develop the listed building into a residential care home.
The Mishcon de Reya team was led by Head of Real Estate, Nick Doffman assisted by Karen Milne and Corporate partners Nick Davis and Matthew Lindsay.
