Legal Innovation Award for Mishcon de Reya

Mishcon de Reya's Brands & Rights Group has been hailed by the FT for its pioneering anti-counterfeiting programme "Tulip" (Turning Losses into Profits). The Tulip initiative was named as the 'stand-out' entry in the 'Legal Expertise' category of the inaugural Legal Innovation awards. Of critical importance to the FT in making its selections was the real commercial value that Tulip delivered, a view eagerly supported by clients:
"Mishcon has come up with a unique product, which no one else has done as effectively. They have saved us more than £1M in the last year."
Partner Gary Miller, who developed the Tulip approach to fighting counterfeiting, was also recognised by the FT in the innovative 'Individuals' category.
