Mediating Private Client Disputes
As society’s overall wealth has increased, so too has the level of disputes being handled by the Courts over the rightful heirs to family assets. As the baby boomers head into their retirement years, a raised awareness of legal rights combined with more complicated domestic arrangements will only add to the Court backlog in the years to come. Thankfully, there is an alternative to costly and lengthy litigation conducted through the Courts and under the media’s microscope. At this seminar, Mishcon de Reya Private Client consultant Henry Frydenson will be explaining:
- What is Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
- Why ADR is becoming ever more important in resolving private client disputes
- The various different types of ADR
- Real examples of mediation
- Common requirements for ADR
- The benefits of ADR
- Where ADR is inappropriate.
