Employees and Data Theft - Fighting the Threat Within

Date: 14 November 2007

In response to high client demand we are re-running our highly popular "Fighting data theft and unfair competition" legal workshop in association with the REC and Recruiter Magazine.

Over the past few years, we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of cases where recruitment companies are dealing with the fallout from employees stealing crucial candidate and client data.  We have also witnessed a rising number of recruitment companies facing problems with enforcing protection clauses in employment contracts.

Dealing with Data Theft

Dan Morrison will speak on the practical, proactive and legal measures to prevent data theft and the steps you should take if valuable business data is stolen from your organisation.  He will also provide details of the creative investigation techniques that are now available to uncover evidence of data fraud and how to take effective action against dishonest employees and competitors who seek to profit from your trade secrets.

Enforcing your Employment Contracts

Daniel Naftalin will illustrate how you can properly protect your recruitment company from unfair competition from departed staff, through the enforcement of restrictive covenants.
