Joanna Blackburn is a partner and Head of the Employment Group.
Her practice covers all areas of contentious and non-contentious employment law including executive terminations, discrimination law, wrongful and unfair dismissal, TUPE, large scale reorganisations and contract issues. Her expertise also covers the employment aspects of mergers/acquisitions/flotations, outsourcing, works councils and information and consultation.
Joanna acts for both employers and employees. Her clients include investment banks, financial organisations, fashion and luxury goods houses, telecoms, record and television companies, plc directors and bankers.
A longstanding 'Leader in their Field' for Employment, Joanna is recommended in the current 2007 Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Industry.
